If the act of quilting intrigues you but you aren't ready (or patient enough!) for cutting all the pieces, then come do a quilting precursor by making a modern, usable potholder! In just two hours, you'll learn the basics of what quilting is and come away with a great household item that you'll have no shame leaving out on your table.
Cost: $30 + kit
Skill Level: Beginner (knows how to sew straight lines and use a machine) and above.
Instructor: Mariglynn Edlins
Materials: All are provided! Just bring yourself and a smile.
Tools: Tools (scissors, cutting mat, needles, seam rippers, sewing machines) will be available for use in the shop, though supplies are limited so you are welcome to bring your own as well. The shop will be open for purchases (fabric, thread, etc.) if you'd like to restock.
**All items are also available in the shop, so no worries if you forget anything or don't have it yet! These will all be basic tools for your sewing journey moving forward!**
PLEASE NOTE: All classes require registration and prepayment. No refunds are offered for classes. You may redistribute your fees to another class with at least 72 hours notice. There is no guarantee that the same class will be available for a reschedule. Cancellations or no shows within the 72 hour window will forfeit their fees entirely. Please show up 15 minutes early to get set up. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late you could be considered a no-show and forfeit your class fees.
Classes may be cancelled due to low attendance. In this situation, a refund will be offered.
