We all have them - those clothes that we love but don't fit us quite right, the ones that we skip past in the closet, the ones that we finished sewing but don't wear because the darts come out too far. Well now is your time to bring them out and show them off! In this two hour workshop you will learn a fix for a clothing problem, whether it be a one-off issue or something that haunts you in most clothes. Bring one item that you're either working on or would just like a better fit with and be walked through the solution to help you. It's group learning through individualized problems, so you'll walk away with answers to questions you might have never even thought to ask! Plus you get to do it all with a mimosa in hand - what could be better?
- Bring 1 apparel item that you have made, are working on, or have purchased that could use some fitting help.
Tools: Tools (scissors, cutting mat, needles, seam rippers, sewing machines) will be available for use in the shop, though supplies are limited so you are welcome to bring your own as well. The shop will be open for purchases (fabric, thread, etc.) if you'd like to restock.
**All items are also available in the shop, so no worries if you forget anything or don't have it yet! These will all be basic tools for your sewing journey moving forward!**
PLEASE NOTE: All classes require registration and prepayment. No refunds are offered for classes. You may redistribute your fees to another class with at least 72 hours notice. There is no guarantee that the same class will be available for a reschedule. Cancellations or no shows within the 72 hour window will forfeit their fees entirely. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to cancel and we will help you as best we can!
Please show up 15 minutes early to get set up. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late you could be considered a no-show and forfeit your class fees.
Classes may be cancelled due to low attendance. In this situation, a refund will be offered.
**BY REGISTERING, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.**
