So you want to know some basics in life to get you through - hemming pants, sewing a button, heck, even threading a needle!? Then this is the class for you! Aimed at those who want to know the practical uses of sewing in day to day life, this class will help you pick up the hotel sewing kit and actually KNOW how to use it!
Class Time: Monday, October 16th 6:30-9:30
Skill Level: Newbie and above.
- Introduction to hand sewing
- Patching/Fixing Clothing
- Sewing on a button
- A clothing item to be mended, if available
Tools: Tools (scissors, cutting mat, needles, seam rippers, sewing machines) will be available for use in the shop though supplies are limited, so you are welcome to bring your own as well. The shop will be open for purchases (fabric, thread, etc.) if you'd like to restock.
